Cheers for the link, vega!Me thinks to watch this 20 minutes hq set was the best thing i could do to celebrate Peter's bday.The violin backing is surprising in a nice way. First of all the necessity to be in tune with such a whimsical instrument requires more discipline and coordination, nevertheless leaving enough space for impromptu, secondly the violin makes some songs sound more 'irish' i'd tell (see DLBTS), and really refreshes classics like Albion (however it's my sincere opinion that such iconic songs shall never be amended). With this I wouldn't say it's appropriate for every tune, as are the dancers, but it's definitely good on for size. And it shows that Peter takes this collaboration seriously, seen his nervousness and effort.
