massive Libertines fans and have followed all the incarnations of Pete’s dalliances and musical expeditions. I guess we saw it as a challenge, we think that band is really cool, and never been down here. We knew a lot of people would be excited. It’s definitely going to be challenge to get him into the country, but we are up for a challenge [laughs]. It’s kind of the motto of Splendour In The Grass: “Up for a challenge!”
