Anyone else disappointed that neither 'Stranger in My Own Skin' or 'Natives at the Gates of Rome' have been included?
Thought they were two of the stronger tracks that have been knocking around post-Shotters. 'Cuckoo' was a strorming track too and I think 'Ocean' had some potential. I guess it's possible they'll appear under different names....
Seems odd that 'Fireman' is on there... the live versions suggest it's essentially a lacklustre cover off 'Garageband'. And 'Maybelline' is a fairly drab/uninspired song both musically and lyrically.
Just doesn't look like they're putting out the best of what they have available. Maybe Pete's saving songs for a solo album or a Babyshambles follow up. Bit of a shame in my opinion.
Oh well, still dead excited about the album and I really hope I'm proved wrong about the song selection. The potential is/was there for this to be a truly great album
