Well, Angelo's right, good gig but not great.
I can't say how the gig began because I arrived around 9:30 when they played Pipedown. The friends that put me up, invite me to have an aperitif and a dinner with them, so... And it finished around 11:00.
They played more or less the original setlist but in disorder. I'm sure they play from the new album : Fall from grace, Farmers daughter, Seven shades, and Fireman...
Babyshambles improvised a reggae version of the "Marseillaise". Probably Peter waited for us to sing, but it didn't work. La marseillaise isn't a federative anthem in France, often considered as a militarist / imperialist anthem...
They probably prefer Gainsbourg and his song "Aux armes Et Caetera" to Renaud and his song "Où C'est Qu'j'ai Mis Mon Flingue ?" in wich he sang "La marseillaise, même en reggae, Ça m'a toujours fait dégueuler / Les marches militaires, ça m' déglingue / Et votr' République, moi j' la tringle, / Mais bordel ! Où c'est qu' j'ai mis mon flingue ? ."
They had more success with Brassens and "Les copains d'abord"... but Peter should make an effort with the lyrics (sometimes you hear "la marre des connards" instead of "la marre des canards" or write an english translation of this song.
